Linea Airdrop

Linea Airdrop & Tokenomics Breakdown
Linea is preparing for one of the most anticipated token launches in the Ethereum L2 space. With a total supply of 72 billion $LINEA, about 22% (~15.8 billion) is already in circulation. A generous 10% of the total supply (7.2 billion tokens) has been allocated for airdrops — 9% for LXP users (based on thresholds and multipliers), and 1% for ecosystem builders. The airdrop is structured around LXP participation, with a total of 1.83 billion LXP in the system, and thresholds set around 1,000, 1,500, and 2,000 points. An additional 0.5% of the total supply is reserved specifically for multiplier bonuses.
- Latest News & Ecosystem Updates
- Sybil-Filtered Snapshot Completed:
Linea has finalized a Sybil-filtered snapshot of eligible users for the airdrop, mainly those who participated in the Voyage Campaign. The goal is to reward real, active users while protecting token value from bots and farming accounts. - Token Generation Event (TGE) Incoming:
Although the exact date for the TGE is still undisclosed, it's expected to happen within weeks. According to Consensys, further announcements will drop about a week before TGE, and airdrop distribution will be aligned with a community-first, Ethereum-native approach. - Innovative Token Burn & Staking Model:
Linea is set to introduce a unique dual-yield system by October 2025:- 20% of all transaction fees will be burned in ETH
- 80% will be used to buy and burn $LINEA tokens
- Bridged ETH will also be natively staked within the ecosystem, creating sustainable staking incentives and deflationary pressure on both ETH and $LINEA.
- 85% of Supply Reserved for Ecosystem Growth:
A massive 85% of the total supply is locked in for long-term ecosystem development:- 10% for early users and contributors
- 75% for ecosystem support, liquidity, partnerships, and future campaigns
Meanwhile, Consensys’ 15% share of the token supply will remain locked with a 5-year vesting period to ensure alignment with the community.
- Formation of the Linea Consortium:
Linea has launched a governance consortium to guide protocol decisions and allocate grants. This consortium includes major Ethereum-native entities such as Eigen Labs, ENS Labs, SharpLink, Status, and more, shaping the ecosystem for the next decade.
